The R.A.C.E. to Liberation™ Framework: From Survival to Self-Reclamation
The truth is… I didn’t sit down one day and say, “Let mecreate a therapeutic framework with a cute acronym.”
R.A.C.E. to Liberation™ was born from my own lived experiences—nervous systemcrashes, career pivots, emotional unravelings, and spiritual rebuilds.
It’s a reflection of what it’s taken (and continues to take) for me—and for somany of us—to move from survival mode to something resembling liberation.
How R.A.C.E. Showed Up in My Own Life
I didn’t name these pillars first… I lived them first.
Expression:
I remember coming out of an emotional crash and enrolling in film school—notbecause it was convenient, but because creative expression became my lifeline. It was the outlet my nervous system craved when words alone weren’t enough.
Compassion:
I remember the day I turned down a potential client—someone I knew deep downwasn’t going to be a good fit. For the first time, I chose compassion formyself over people-pleasing or financial fear. That was boundary work. That wasnervous system work.
Acceptance:
I remember falling to my knees, literally, unsure if I would ever be able toput myself back together again. That was the day I realized: Acceptance doesn’tmean you like where you are. It just means you stop lying about it.
Resilience:
I remember applying for a new job—not because I wanted more on my plate—butbecause I’d hit the ceiling where I was. It was time to stretch, time to bounceforward—not just back.
The Heart of the Framework
At the end of the day, liberation isn’t one singularbreakthrough moment.
It’s a set of building blocks. It’s Tetris.
Some seasons you’re stacking resilience.
Other seasons you’re heavy on compassion or drowning in acceptance work.
Some days… you’re just trying to get one clear expression of your truth outwithout self-editing.
R.A.C.E. isn’t linear. It’s alive. It moves with you. It grows with you.
